CI-ASS 2. The site is undergoing natural rates of erosion including bank slumping. This is not presenting a threat to property or the utilisation of the area and is an example of the natural methods of change on an alluvial floodplain. Similar sites in the metropolitan area have generally been regraded or otherwise modified. This site is an opportunity to present a more natural geomorphological feature along the Merri Path.
