Basalt Daisy webFor those who have expressed interest in participating as a Seed Production carer. Please advise your availability to attend a training session developed by the Victorian Indigenous Nurseries Cooperative to ensure you understand the commitment and to match your situation with the right species. Attendance at this session is strongly recommended.
The Secret Seven project aims to tackle the conservation needs of seven wildflower species on the verge of disappearing from the Merri creek catchment. Establishing a secure source of healthy seed is one of the actions needed to restore the Merri’s wildflower grasslands. Community members can play a role!

There will be opportunities to ask questions and a questionnaire to help match you with a species! Note: Plants will not be distributed on the day, so no need to bring a vehicle; and training will be in a shed, so please bring clothing appropriate to the weather.
